Cure Porch is a 1930s drama about a meek young woman trapped in a bad marriage, who, after contracting TB, is sent away to a sanatorium, which is essentially a controlled death house.  She desperately wants to be with her daughters again, but this becomes increasingly difficult when she falls in love with another man and finds a new sense of independence, while facing mortality each day.  She doesn’t want to return to the terrible life that’s waiting for her at home, but can her new love last outside the sanatorium without her daughters?
